Our compounding pharmacist and compounding technicians, specially trained in aseptic compounding, prepare sterile compounds including IVs, injectables, and ophthalmic solutions (i.e. eye drops) in our state-of-the-art clean room. Kare Pharmacy abides by all guidelines set forth in the U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP) Chapter 797 regarding sterile compounding. Sterile compounding is becoming a necessity due to the long list of back-ordered medications. At this time, we cannot provide sterile compounds for office/clinic use. All compounds are patient-specific and require a valid prescription from a licensed healthcare provider.
